Knocked it out of the park!

I was a fan of his early stuff. My first LP was Elvis' Golden Records. I still have it.  I never thought the Vegas jump suits were very flattering.

Maggie and I went to a movie for the first time since way before COVID. The movie was ELVIS.
Maggie liked it all right, but I was kinda disappointed. If you're going because you appreciate Elvis's music and want to hear it, you'll be disappointed. There are few complete songs and there are some weird choices of music for the sound track including even some rap.
It does give a good portrayal of the relationship between Elvis and Colonel Tom. You can decide for yourself whether it was accurate.  Colonel Tom is the narrator.
I wonder how accurate Elvis's childhood was portrayed as well.
