Flanger, s recent Chinese KnockOFf of the Chinese SpiderCapo
Spider was introduced in 2008, made in China
Thr Third Hand Invented in 1975, made in the USA, Discontinued in 2016
These 3 capos allow one to clamp all 63 combinations of partial capo at any fret on almost any guitar.
They are not quick-change
A comparison article of the Third Hand and Spider can be found at A Careful Comparison of Third Hand and Spider Universal Partial Capos
The whole Harvey Reid's Partial Capo site is a wonderful resource for learning to use a Universal Partial capo effectively.

.....
Some notes on the $11 FlexiCapo.
Keep in mind both the Flexi and the Spider are CHINESE-made products.
First problem I found with it is that the tiny tabs that are intended to keep capo same height above fret board interferes with the 1st string on my Martin. It clears 1st string on my NE Amber Trails. I assume that the The Spider may have same problem.
The second problem is the capo is flexible where it should be stiff, The two jaws allow too much angular movement on the shaft that runs through the capo. The clamping action fails because the jaws flex outward as you tighten them causing the capo to lift away from fret board..
As others noted, adjustment of this capo design is awkward.. But for alternate tunings for which there isn't a pre-cut capo, it's a cheaper solution than a guitar for each tuning
I have used it myself to emulate a 5-sring banjo on my Martin.
Martin tuned to Open G, with 5th string capoed at 10th fret ..for practising 5-string banjo chords.
