Neewer is a photo/videography equipment manufacturer/distributor and a rebrander of capos. If you search them on eBay and Amazon you will see load of photo/videography equipment and some capos. They have a re-branded Meideal, and clones of Kyser and Dunlop. They have versions of some older capo designs as well.
This one is a coil spring design similar to Meideal, but they have shrouded the spring to give the capo a different profile. They even have alternate designs depending on market.
This is their eBay version. NW-19 $16CAD,free shipping. Features a ribbed neck pad.
And this is the Amazon version, NW-1. $16.00CAD, Free shipping Both are probably a Zinc Alloy as they are not light capos. It features a very wide but rather flat neck pad. Spring is tighter than the NW-19. Both seem to work as well as the Meideals. But the handles are not as comfortable.
NW-II $13CAD, Free shipping
Looks rather nice. Brushed, ClearCoated copper finish. They call it bronze but it is copper under LED lighting. Actually nicer than any other thumb-screw capo I have. That huge protruding thumbscrew is easy to work with. Fret pad does not over hang fretboard excessively. It's on my NE for the day. Let's see how it works with my arrangement of Softly at 5th fret
