I'm starting to realize why my dealer was so anxious that I give him my GPCPA5K on consignment.
It does NOT have black Richlite fingerboard OR bridge as in the specs. Instead it uses a light brown rosewood alternative called Morado... Also called "Pau Ferro" or Bolivian Rosewood.. This version is a rarity, and should have had a different Model number.
I wonder how many of these Morado Martins made?
Was sn:1848491 at the end of run when they ran out of richlite?
Did these Morado fingerboards and bridges come off Style 15 lines parts bin?
What other Martin models use Morado?
