A La Patrie Steel String? Yes, Reallly!!

It sure is! With the exception of two classicals that came to me in the days before before Kijiji, and an oddball Griffiths nylon solid-body electric a neighbour was parting with, all of mine have come thru Kijiji; six locally, two from out of province, my AMI Wild Cherry from Nova Scotia, and an as yet sight-unseen S&P MJ I found in New Brunswick. That's now in Nova Scotia awaiting pickup by a traveling relative early in the new year.

Lot of very good deals on very nice guitars out there if you're patient, persistent and aren't totally committed to a make or model...and, of course, blessed with relations who'll go pick it up for you and store it, and others who'll cart it back to the east coast of the island for you in the fullness of time. I've had fun putting my little collection together, and it's cost me less than the price of a new mid-range guitar from one of the Big Three.

Not, mind you, that I'm not lurking in the Kijiji weeds looking for a really, really good deal on a little Martin 000-15SM...ya never know...
