Hi folks! Been away for awhile...work full time, also do a lot of volunteer stuff, my brother has had serious health issues, & had to have a lot of major house repairs...very little free time!! But just registered here on the new forum...again...lol...have to go back to being a newbie even though I've been on the Acoustic Guitar Forums for many years! (Had to re-register once before on the old forum - wouldn't recognize me - so anyway, I'm back to newbie again! lol)
Anyway, here's another great deal! Most places are selling this model for $480. Says not available until Jan 19. Some folks prefer cedar Seagulls, but I have both cedar & spruce tops & love both! In fact, one of my fave 'gulls is my 12 string Excursion (solid spruce top, walnut back & sides)...one of the less expensive models, but IMHO, one of the most incredible playing/sounding! I also love my 6 string Excursion...as Tony & I have discussed, it actually has a Martin sound...very unusual for a 'gull!
As some of you may remember, I've bought many Seagulls at these super reduced prices whenever I find them! I'm trying to refrain right now...I haven't bought a guitar in over a year...that's a record for me! lol I bought a new car & a new bicycle, so I'm trying to keep myself on a budget now.
Also, I've been following the thread on the S6 mahogany deal on Amazon...you may recall that I bought the Maritime all solid mahogany when it was at closeout price...I find the discussion very interesting comparing the two. I may post there in a bit with a followup on my own experience with the Maritime.
