So I was getting the "bug" to get a "new to me" classical guitar, because the only one I have is my Gibson C-0. But I could not find anything that really appealed to me in my on-line shopping - I found a "maybe" but nothing that really "grabbed" me. So I thought I would pull out the Gibson, and try new strings and a experiment with my assortment of picks. WOW!! I don't need another classical guitar - the Gibson grabbed my attention again, and was exactly what I thought I was looking for. Saved myself $$$ by "shopping" in my own house! I was not playing with the best pick for the guitar, and the strings were apparently dead!

ladyssolo , That's a great idea, think i will do some home "shopping" in me own home, see what i can find, don't think I'll find a nice Nylon strung, Gibson, but you never know. 😀 What i would really like to find, (might even have to go out and buy one), a Nylon strung crossover guitar. 😁
I played a Yamaha red label about a year ago in a local pawn shop - wasn't bad but didn't impress me either. If I have a little extra time tomorrow, I pass that pretty good pawn shop on my way from one work site to the other, and I may run in (the owner(?)is an old guitar guy from way back, and he plays pretty well) and see what he has. Has a wide selection of guitars, both electric and acoustic, and keeps the better ones hanging where you have to ask to try them.
