NGD - I now own a Sigma! How did that happen?

So I'm walking past the second-hand store, and I pop in just for a looksee at the el-cheapo guitars. I find a mint condition Sigma DMC-1STE BR. A browny finished dreadnought with a cutaway and basic Fishman UST electronics. It comes in a decent hard case. I look inside the case, and lo and behold, there is case candy! A leather strap, a nice capo, a neck tuner, a slide tube, and a cheap plectrum. The price for all this: R2000. (About $157).


I played it, and it sounded a bit tight, but not bad for the price. There is literally not a scratch on it.  I gazed at that guitar and the opportunity to buy a cheap plectrum - I took the bait  

Was it a good deal in your opinion. It seemed so to me! Here is the model:

So I now have two guitars on the market. My Seagull Artist and this Sigma. Whichever sells first, I will use to buy a bass guitar. If the Seagull sells, I can get a decent bass. If the Sigma sells, I can get an average bass. If I dont sell either, I have too many acoustics!!!

Thanks Derick. The strings are totally dead, but it still doestn sound that bad. I am now imagining what it will be like with a setup and new set of strings. I am trying hard not to like it too much, as the idea was to sell it for a profit or trade it, to fund the bass. But I am now starting to bond with this thing - Oh dear!
