Cort just came out with a new line of "Grand Auditorium" sized guitars. From what I've seen online so far, they look and sound fantastic.
The GA sized guitar is well known as being a Taylor thing for the most part so I believe Cort is going after some of that market share and I think they've started off with a bang. Check the specs out on these babies, it's unbelievable for what you pay. You couldn't even get a Seagull with these kind of specs for the price Cort is asking.
I really want to get my hands on one of these and try them. Can't find any in my area "yet" although the few Cort dealers in my area say they can order one and get it in, in like 3 to 4 days.
There's not many reviews out cuz the guitars are new but here's a link to them on Cort's site and one music sample from Cort Guitars Germany ( 3 of them being recorded I believe and the guy playing is very good, so that doesn't hurt the first impressions! ).
TonyKgull, Just been checking the new Cort Guitar models, very impressed, and the price is excellent. Can get the Cort Guitar quite easy over here in the UK, will try may best to get my hands on one of these and check it out.
They sound great. I saw MSRP starting at $599, so it should be a good sub-$500 alternative. Taylor has such strong brand recognition, so it will be interesting to see if this can cut into their market share.
